Experience-based triathlon coaching, since 1999.
Providing triathletes with the utmost personalized plans & strategies.
t2coaching helps…
Athletes who are starting or restarting their training, are time-restricted and just need that extra bit of help to build momentum in their season. This includes:
- Age-group athletes of all levels. I’ve worked with countless athletes from various run, bike, and swimming backgrounds. However, if you can’t swim yet, using a local option is a good starting point for understanding the basics.
- Advanced age-group athletes. In 2023, I had three female athletes finish Kona. With another male athlete from Turkey qualifying for it this year (as the FIRST Turkish to do so!). Plus, I have quite a few Konas and titles under my belt, so I can help you take it to the next level.
- Master athletes of varying levels. As a master athlete, I know what it’s like to be a mature triathlete with endless responsibilities. Your goals are different and you’ll see exactly how I’ve accounted for that in your training plan.
- Athletes around the world in all time zones.
- And most importantly, motivated athletes. My approach is based on my decades of training alone while keeping a healthy mind. So I know how to help you push yourself, but it’s ultimately up to you. So in our call, I’ll keep note of just how strong your ‘why’ is.
Why choose me?
#1 My specialty is your trajectory.
Adopting an athlete-centric approach, t2coaching is all about YOU. Your life. And your ‘why’. Rather than some fixed training schedule or strategy.
#2 Scientific approaches are on REAL dirt and sweat.
t2coaching started with paper & pencil training plans in the 90s. In short, I’ve seen it all. So your nutrition, recovery, injury, and strength training programs aren’t just based on data found in a lab environment…
But also decades of success from real athletes who have real jobs & families.
#3 The race strategies are unfair.
I’ve raced countless times these past 30+ years. Triathlons, marathons, duathlons… you can name it all.
So if you happen to choose a popular race like Florida or Hawaii, you’ll have insider knowledge on the best route to swim in the waters and exactly how the road will be.
#4 Busy bees are who we are for.
If you’re too busy or don’t want to invest a lifetime into the sport, you’re the ideal athlete. Having moved houses mid-training, balancing coaching with racing, and working with countless athletes who needed to do the same…
I know exactly how to keep the amazing life you already have – while also adding these unforgettable races to it.
#5 You’re not gambling with me
Listen, t2coaching doesn’t have a large team of coaches working with a school of athletes you can train with.
But this means that you’ll receive the utmost catered coaching for your training. Guaranteeing you won’t be left behind or expected to know the basics inside-out.

Our Athletes
Jay – 70.3, 140.6, with his sons 🙂
Coach’s notes: When I started coaching Jay, I primarily coached him online using training peaks and we would communicate via text and over the phone. The second year, we met in the pool a couple of times to fine-tune his swim technique and now we are meeting for rides and open water swims. Jay plays in a band on weekends so his training is limited to weekdays and he has completed numerous 70.3s and an Ironman. Currently, he’s training for Ironman 🙂
Athlete’s thoughts: …In 2019 I self-coached and completed Ironman Atlantic City 70.3 (half Ironman distance). I finished Atlantic City but suffered a little and made some mistakes. After completing the 70.3 I decided I really needed to complete a full…
Tahsin – 2024 Ironman Qualifier
Coach’s notes: Tahsin and I connected in 2016 at his Triathlon Club, SASFit in Istanbul Turkey who hired me to coach the team. I met Tashin at their training camp and we did intense swim and run analysis and bike big miles while getting to know one another. Despite being a foreigner who couldn’t even speak to some of the athletes, we got along perfectly and even had amazing dinner parties with laughter and joy. Which I credit the sport of triathlon for.
However, my coaching relationship would end with SASFit, due to COVID, but Tahsin reached out to me to personally coach him for the Kona World Championship in 2024. One of my most unique coaching experiences so far.Athlete’s thoughts: …The most beneficial for me in my experience was that you stopped me from over training thus prevented me from injury. Physically for sure but especially mentally you forced me to complete some training sessions…
Payson – Marathoner, 70.3
Coach’s note Payson and I go way back to 2012. I lived in Colorado and she lived in Georgia. I started coaching her in swimming and she would swim in her backyard pool with a tether. She would send me swim videos for analysis. Unfortunately, from 2014-2022, life derailed her training but we connected again in 2022 when he schedule cleared up. Currently, she’s taking run coaching with me in 2024. However, now she has been inspired to be a triathlete
Athlete’s thoughts:
…Over time, my goals have changed and Wendy adopts to my goals. She can coach an Olympic triathlete and someone training to do a 5K with 20 minute mile targets. Her knowledge about training, nutrition, managing injuries, mental preparation is vast.
