ABOUT WENDY
My triathlon journey started when there was no internet, podcasts, or groups to ask questions or learn from other athletes’ experiences. I had to gain my stripes the hard way.
In short, it was hard. But I loved it.
I had countless illnesses and injuries, overtrained for many seasons, and was occasionally limping across the finish line.
Yes, these setbacks did not stop me from doing what I loved (inside and outside the sport), and they also crafted who I am today.
After realizing I could help athletes go through the ‘learning curve’ faster and more purposely…
I thought, “Why not turn what I love into a job” and began a career in the industry. This was over 25 years ago.
Although I started to coach people with paper and pencil training plans…
