1. How did you initially hear about t2coaching services, and what made you decide to work with me?
TP website. I had a few other choices and had other phone interviews but you stood out amongst the others. You were genuine, kind and listened. You also had videos online that helped me throughout my training that I could reference very easily!
2. What were your specific health and fitness and performance goals when you started working with me, did my coaching help you achieve them?
To get my weight back down and to successfully finish another Ironman. Not only finish another one but I had a goal to beat my first one and I did with your training.
3.Can you describe your experience working with me as a coach? What did you find most beneficial?
By far my best experience with a coach (have had 2 others via online). Again? You had videos to reference workouts, form, etc. that made it easy to reference what you wanted me to do. The most beneficial part was your easy going attitude and openness for phone conversations. Additionally the fact that the workouts were uploaded to my watch and phone. It was always there to remind me to do them!
4. Did coaching impact your overall health and wellness, both physically and mentally?
All of the above. Although I have taken a few months off I plan on getting back in the groove because I better understand how workouts should be built after seeing what you did with me. You can read all you can about building a workout but seeing it first hand and then executing it it’s way different.
5. If you recommend my coaching services to others looking to improve their health and fitness or sport? why?
I would definitely recommend you to others. Your knowledge of the body and what it needs in order to achieve the fitness goal that person wants is most impressive. I also thought you were very upfront with cost of your service and was affordable for the budget I gave myself to have a coach.
6. What were some of the biggest challenges you faced and how did my coaching help you overcome them?
Finishing another Ironman along with beating my first one I finished. The training schedule you put me on (was vastly more exercises and worked out more days) was so much different than when I first trained for my first IM. I thought it was crazy to be working out with only 1-rest day but the sequence to which you set the schedule up made it easier.
7. What specific strategies or techniques did you find most helpful in achieving your goals.Your training videos posted online. Helped so much. Also, you knowledge of nutrition was also very very helpful.
8. What sets my coaching apart other coaches you may have worked with in the past?
Fuel. Scheduling fuel and understanding that if you keep your body fueling ever 45min it pays dividends than eating every 1.5 hrs or whatever. That blew my mind that eating a small fig newton or pretzels ever half hour or so was the best idea ever for my race. It shocked me how well it went!
